Godden Green B & B Guesthouse

We liked that our hosts were very welcoming and attentive but not intrusive. The room was absolutely spotless and had everything you could need including, toaster, microwave, toasted sandwich maker, breakfast basket, fresh fruits, yoghurts, milk, juice, bread and crumpets with a separate savoury/sweet goody basket including red and white wine! There's even a small jar of sea glass to take home! The bed was comfy and all the linen/towels smelled lovely too. We will definitely return!

Having to leave

Very neat and clean. Hosts were extremely attentive and nothing was too much to ask of them. Lots of thoughtful little details like a special welcome basket of treats. Would recommend.

The room was a good size, beautifully decorated, with a lovely ensuite shower room. It had its own facilities for basic meals with units containing fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster, crockery and cutlery, and washing up facilities. Continental style breakfast was supplied with a wide range of cereals, baked goodies such as waffles, bread, muffins, croissants, breakfast bars etc, and a fridge full of yoghurts, milk and juice. Tea, coffee, filter coffee, hot chocolate, and a bowl of fruit was also provided. There was also a welcome basket with sweet and savoury treats and wine. Charlie is an amazing host who clearly loves looking after her guests and whenever we saw her, she always checked if we needed anything replacing. We came home one day to find balloons and a happy birthday banner on our door and a bottle of wine and chocolates. She even let us put our rain soaked clothes on her washing line and fetched them in and folded them when the weather changed whilst we were out. The bnb is in a good location to explore the whole island but still in a fairly quiet location.

There was nothing to dislike. Anything we thought could be improved, and there was very little, we mentioned to Charlie personally.

Breakfast was fine, we don't eat much, so the fruit, tea and milk were spot on. Location was excellent for where we wanted to be.

Friendly welcome and modern facilities with a location central to everything

Very nice light breakfast. Quiet location and convenient for everything we needed to do. Charlie was very hospitable, and concerned that we had everything we needed.

Charlie is a fantastic host she was there for absolutely anything we needed. The B&B is the best we've ever stayed in it was like staying at a friend's house. It was so relaxing and the welcome pack was incredible.

What a lovely welcome! Our hosts couldn't have done more to make us feel more than at home. The room was spotless and tidy and provided everything we needed and more. Lovely hot shower and really comfy bed. It was lovely to have a private seating area outside too, although we didn't use it.

Minor issue will be shared privately with hosts as it can be easily rectified and did not detract from our stay at all.
