Beach Street Eco Resort - Mandrem

From the organisation of the taxi pick up, to the checking out, was great. The staff although only staying one night made me feel very welcome. The setting is stunning and staff that clean the rooms are so attentive. The safe’s are huge! Overall, a great find

В предпоследнюю ночь бурундучки осмелели и залезли к нам в домик. Нашли шоколад, погрызли. Один залез прямо на кровать сквозь сетку.

Старый отель. Но надёжный. Реально своеобразный

Lovely peaceful spot with great food, nice comfy rooms, warm friendly staff, lovely spaces to relax/do yoga etc and right on the beach - lots of great little places to eat/ have coffee/ buy gifts.

The location and staff is great. The staff is even exceptionally great.

I knew that I'll be staying in a beach hut. But still, it really had a camping ground vibe. I did not have a single night of good sleep due to the other guests being so close. I had to leave early. My hut was so small, I could barely open my luggage!

The whole resort looks beautiful and it's location on the beach is just perfect. They have these little Cabanas that look out on the beach with lots of different colour cushions and bolsters, and it feels so nice to chill out there will a drink in the shade, whilst watching the waves. Our room was 2 rows back from the beach, but they have positioned the huts, so you can still see parts of the beach, which is beautiful. The design of the hut is gorgeous, as is the details in the shower and the taps etc. Good amounts of storage. And a very comfortable bed with good pillows and sheets.

The restaurant lets you smoke. Even though it's outside, eating your breakfast when the wind is blowing someone's smoke into your face, really ruins the experience if you are not a smoker. They also 100% NEED to change their knifes. They are thick and twisted (part of the 'fancy design), and so hard to use. And we heard other couples struggling with their knives on other tables - PLEASE change your knives. Fancy is not necessary - usable is!!!! And they don't match your simple and functional fork, so it should be no issue to change them! You do have to be aware that you are staying in a hut, and so you can hear EVERYONE next to you. There are signs up saying to be silent, but if you are next to a family like we were (and you are most likely to be, as the huts are organized - 2 floor hut (perfect for a family), a double bed hut (for couples), 2 floor hut again and so one, you have to deal with the screaming kids until they fall asleep (which thankfully for us was about 11ish) This is just a personal one for us - we would have liked the restaurant and bar to play soft music in the evenings, but they never did, so we didn't like the vibe (which ascetically looks beautiful). Instead every night we ate out and drunk at other restaurants along the beach (which are plentiful). They do play music at the pool (which also has a bar) - but this is a very family area and nowhere near as nice as the actual bar that is outside and under beautiful trees, with lovely lighting, so I personally thought that was an odd choice. Lastly, they have NO sun loungers on the beach itself. Only a few inside the resort. They mentioned something about wanting to protect the turtles (which I fully support), however every other resort along the beach had sunloungers, so it doesn't really make sense.
