Ty Cwm - Cwmcarn Valley House

Exceptional home. Very clean. Great facilities with everything you would need for your stay

Steep steps at front but due to location to be expected. No hand rail on stairs, came with elderly mum who struggled to negotiate the stairs

The house was great and it had only just been done up and everything was new and fresh. The welcome little gifts that were put on for us was amazing and it felt just like home. All of the little things like central heating, very comfortable beds, mobile charges in most rooms, every tool you might need (a vast contrast from some place we stayed in earlier). It was away from a lot of lot of convenience and you have to book ahead for pubs but it was so relaxing in the valley. And quiet. And not far to drive to get something. And the hosts and all of the locals were very friendly and helpful

Only thing was it was a small village so you either cooked something that you had or tried to book early. Or had a short drive to find a place close by. But we were generally self reliant and there were shops close by to get things to cook up. And everything you required in the house to cook.

Perfectly set up and classy setup..

A little more info on how things worked. Particularly for dumb Aussies, Re. locking the door and working the heating.
