Excellent location in easy walking distance of the city centre. Much prefer The Snug to some overpriced single room in a city centre hotel.

Facilities were very good and the room was comfortable, clean and nice and warm. Good small supermarkets nearby and only a few minutes walk from the city centre. Great place to stay.

The snug was the perfect little place to rest whilst visiting York. It was so clean and neat with clean towels, complimentary toiletries and even little Spa slippers! Very wonderful stay, will Stay again!! Many thanks

The fridge and microwave were part of the reason for choosing the room. Location is a short walk to the city center

A little noisy being downstairs next to the main entrance, but it's not a deal breaker.
