No 1 The Villas Families only

The house was so beautiful and the easy access to the beach was so nice with small kids. It made the holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. Everything in the house was top notch quality and having someone clean was nice.

Unfortunately on arrival, we were told that the aircon in the 3rd bedroom doesn't work, but that a technician would attend to it the next day of our 6 night stay. On top of this, the ceiling fan also didn't work, and then we heard the cleaner (who would only come in the next day on my request) have the only key for the door in this bedroom leading outside. Needless to say it was painful to have slept in this room without a fan, aircon and no air circulation (this being a very warm October evening). The next day the owner (Trevor) arrived saying he doesn't really want to replace the fans as one don't get the wooden ceiling fans anymore? Why then have ceiling fans and advertising the apartment with 3 bedrooms with ceiling fans and a airconditioner? To our surprise, the ceiling fan was then replaced with a new one. The installation was so bad that we could not even use the ceiling fan that night as we were scared it would fall down (not to talk about the noise it made). Another full day later (at the end of our 3rd day in the unit andnot having access to our bedroom at all due to 3 technicians being busy breaking out the old aircon unit and replacing it with a new unit), we had an aircon. Upon further investigation, the one other bedroom's ceiling fan also didn't work. We were not even informed of this. Also, the main bedroom's ceiling fan could also not be used as it made such a loud noise once on, no one would be able to sleep. To add to this, the unit was dusty and not clean at all with many nicks on the walls and old double sided tape just stuck on walls. The kitchen had no cupboards for groceries and a third of them were locked. The owner kept appearing and 'popping in' through the open front door, whether it was to ask for the pool gate key etc etc or show the gardener around (in the privacy of the unit we were paying for and should have exclusive use of).
