A cozy room in a modern House

It’s a beautiful and exceptionally clean house, located very close to the film studio I needed to travel to every day. The hosts were a very warm and friendly couple, and they even treated me to a lovely breakfast on the morning of my departure.

As a solo female traveler, I was not aware before arrival that the male host’s bedroom is located directly between the guest room and the bathroom. Although he was very friendly and respectful, I would have appreciated knowing this arrangement in advance so I could make a more informed decision when booking. I also discovered on the first night that my room door could not be properly closed or locked. The hosts kindly tried to repair it while I was at work, but the issue was not resolved during my stay. Personally, I do not mind unfinished parts of the house, such as the exposed area in the bathroom ceiling or the hole in the wall of the guest room. What matters much more to me is having a bedroom door that closes properly and can be locked, especially as a solo traveler. Another point to consider is that bathroom usage and the noisy door of the room may be somewhat sensitive at night. Because the female host's bedroom is directly below the guest room, I was concerned about disturbing them when returning late from work. My filming schedule often ended around midnight, and after being informed that the noise could be disruptive for her, I felt uncomfortable using the shower after a long working day. The hosts themselves were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. I simply believe that these details would be useful for future guests, particularly solo travelers or those with irregular working hours.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Zimmer mit zwei sehr netten, freundlichen und unkomplizierten Gastgebern. Zudem war alles sehr sauber und man hat sich wohl gefühlt. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Nichts.

Ich hatte eine Fortbildung bei KM-BB und dafür war es perfekt - 5 Min zu Fuß zur Trainingslocation. Die Küche und sogar die Waschmaschine hätte ich benutzen können und es war nicht nur sehr sauber sondern auch gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und wir hatten spannende und schöne Gespräche. Ich werde sicher wieder herkommen, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Potsdam bin.

Die Wendeltreppe zum 1. Stock, wo das Zimmer ist, ist etwas umständlich mit großem Gepäck. Aber machbar.

L'emplacement, loin de tout. De plus l'adresse sur Booking correspond à une... usine ! Heureusement qu'un employé sympathique a pu m'aider à contacter les propriétaires : la maison est au numéro 40 !

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad in einem neuen Haus. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, man erhält einen Schlüssel und ist dadurch unabhängig.

The room is sufficient. The house is new and all furniture as well. The bed is good and I slept very well. Internet works perfect. The owners are very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. All in all a good stay.

There was no cupboard and no table to work at a computer in the room, however, the owner offers working at the big table at the living room. The S-Bahn Station is over 1 km away and you need a car, however, it is difficult getting a parking place. You are forced finding a parking at the surrounding.
