The personnel was very helpful and responsive

The pictures of onsen are from nearby onsen, walkable distance and not expensive - but the pictures are confusing, so just to mention for other guests there are no onsen at the house itself

Closeness to all amenities. Train, restaurants and supermarket all within 5 minutes from house. Bathrooms clean, adequate space and mattress freshly laundered. Area feels safe.

"Great budget friendly spot outside of Tokyo city"

It’s not the host fault, but we wanted to stay closer to Tokyo and not sure why I didn’t realize it was further than I’d like. Place was clean, host met us at the train station which helped us a lot. She was very friendly and helpful. Quiet and cute little town if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Shared space with others, but you have a lock on your door. The shower was amazing.

No dryer for washing. Bedding wasn’t the most comfortable.
