The Resource Inn Big Lake

Price was very good compared to the 200$ a night that the others wanted. Road to get there was bumpy as stated in other reviews but if you are a native West Texan then you know that comes with the territory. Outside of premises could probably use some cleaning and landscaping other than that the room was clean. Beds were comfortable and water was hot.

I loved that it was super clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were nice and clean , like new🙂

How it was set up in the rooms

The long drive that has pot holes big enough to swallow my car, so many you can barely miss them, an it takes about 30 min with the water running in cold weather to get hot water.

I place to lay down

Room was disgusting. Bathroom had a water leak so floor was soaked in the corner to the point the flooring was coming up. Once you took a shower you had to wear shoes otherwise your feet were sticky and dirtier than before you got in the shower. Pieces of flooring missing. Smoking area is right outside the rooms, so if you love the smell of cigarette smoke it easily makes it in the rooms. Apparently someone’s dog lives on sight and stays in the common area between the rooms? So don’t worry, if you’re tired from a long day, you get to be kept up by an annoying ankle biting dog bark!
