MH Homestay No2 at Alor Setar

The entire house was spacious for big family. Wifi connection was okay and all rooms fully aircond. Ample parking was provided.

Tv was set up in each individual rooms however can’t quite understand to operate them because all instruction are in chinese 😅 and only channel 8tv available. Anyways, people hardly watch tv these days so its not a big deal.

This is the best option available for large groups requiring 5-7 rooms at a valuable price. The parking space can accommodate up to 5 cars. The stay was comfortable, all rooms had airconds which was such a relief on a hot sunny day. Sufficient number of bathrooms, adequate space. The service was the best, amazing & superb! Full information provided upon booking, convenient key collection and check out process. Wifi is provided. They even provided new iron, ironing board and hair dryer for us. We also appreciate that there were a lot of socket plugs provided in each room. All in all, a recommended place to stay, they also accommodate if you only need few rooms instead of the whole unit.

We love everything there with only few suggestions for value added. Few bottles of mineral/drinking water may be provided for guests upon checking in. Value added if television and aircond may be provided at the living hall as the main place for gathering of guests, in addition to installing mirrors at the sink in the bathrooms.

There are many rooms for accommodation, and the rooms are all air-conditioned and very comfortable. It was divided into two parts, so we divided it into male dormitory and female dormitory, which was very convenient when we were traveling with many boys and girls. Owner also prepared some drinking water and soft drinks for us.

The lock on the fence gate was broken, and the wheel was also broken (although it did not affect when we open / close). When we checked in, all the keys are put at outside. Although the owner said it was safe there, but we are not locals and cannot be completely reassured in this situation.

The house is spacious and clean. Very comfortable for 7 people to stay in. The host responds very fast to any request, I will definitely introduce this homestay to my friend if they plan to visit Alor Setar.

It would be good if they have 1 more toilet.
