Minster House - Group Hot Tub

Communication was very good, answered queries quickly and allowed early check in. Checked in with us during our stay

No mattress or pillow protectors on 90% of the beds. A large stain on one of the mattresses. Stained kitchen sink, broken curtain rail, stained bath . TV didn't work properly, only had 4 random channels. Everything seems to be a little grubby and tired.

The games table was a real asset it kept the whole family entertained The house was a good size even with 8 people it didn’t feel crowded The location was ideal, walking distance into town and on a quiet and peaceful street There was foil, washing up liquid etc that made it easy to tidy up and clean up after ourselves

The bed in the downstairs bedroom and the single rooms were not comfortable The hot tub was not clean, it was grimy with a film of oil on the top The BBQ was dirty and unusable and there was rubbish in bedrooms that hadn’t been cleaned The crockery needed washing before use There were no instructions to use the hot tub or cooker and it would have been handy if the cupboards were more organised and labelled We couldn’t find a frying pan to cook eggs for breakfast I was really disappointed that the booking didn’t inform me that a deposit was required and I only found this out hours before we should have been checking in, luckily I saw my emails and had a credit card to put this on. But There were a lot of marks on walls/carpets etc. and other signs of wear and tear and no way of knowing what was already recorded and known.

Lovely bedrooms and great location

Not very well equipped, hot tub only warm for the first night (not very hot even the first night). Downstairs area a bit small and not enough comfortable seating for all. Lots of rubbish out the front.

Great house with ample facilities. Very comfy and clean. Great location 10 minute walk to central York.

House was great, lots of stairs, but as described. Parking ok for normal car unfortunately we had a 9 seater van and struggled… but that’s our fault. Bed in one room had a temporary repair which failed one night but other than that house was great.

It is a beautiful house It was really cosy really convenient to the centre of town was really clean had everything in the house you could possibly need the games table and hot tub is the icing on the cake I would happily stay here again.

I honestly can’t fault it
