The owner Joy was very friendly and informative. A great place to stay and visit local areas.

Really nice spacious annex with own garden in great location for exploring the area. Everything was supplied for a really comfortable stay. From dressing gowns and towels for the hot tub, to full range of kitchen equipment and basic supplies, to a welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits. Our host Joy was great, not only welcoming us and talking through how everything works, but also took time to talk through things to do and places to go in the area.

The retreat was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Hot tub was amazing, plus sun loungers and garden seating in the very private garden area. A fully equipped kitchen, including pod coffee machine, microwave, full size oven and hob. A smart TV in the lounge and bedroom. Comfy bed, robes, slippers loads of towels (and extras for hot tub use) little extras like sachets of ketchup, biscuits, kitchen basics that you never remember to bring like oil, kitchen foil, salt and pepper, etc, even a hair clip for use in the hot tub. Joy is lovely. She met us when we arrived (even though we were much later arriving than we’d anticipated), and showed us how everything worked, and gave us loads of helpful suggestions on good places to visit and where to get good food.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. It was great.

Very enjoyable experience at the retreat, such a happy place to be. The property is very clean and well loved which shines through to make some beautiful memories.

We enjoyed everything, not a bad thing to say.

The host(Joy) and the location were excellent. The accommodation was lovely with tea, coffee and biscuits supplied by Joy. The hot tub and outside furniture is perfect for relaxing. We would definitely recommend it to others.
