Dead Sea view Elite apartment Samara Resort traveler award 2026

This is a great apartment, perfect for our family of four. The apartment is a good size, comfortably furnished, with great views of the Dead Sea and set in a lovely resort with several swimmng options and an easy walk to nearby shops. We will be back, for sure.

Suna was a lovely host. She tried our best to help when we had some issues with the apartment (see below for elaboration). Also gave good recommendations for food options close to the resort.

Communication could have been improved. Firstly wrong location given to us on google map but this wasn't communicated to us until we realised we were at the wrong place. When we arrived it was raining quite heavily and the temperature outside was cold, however we were not told that we had to turn the heating for water on manually and had to wait an additional hour for the water to turn warm. To our dismay we only found this out when we asked the hot about the lack of hot water and by that time it was almost 10pm. We waited until 11.30pm and the water was still bitterly cold so we had to shower with cold water which we were not pleased about. The kitchen had utensils and pots and pans needed but would have been nice if at least tea and coffee were provided. There was absolutely nothing stocked in the kitchen which we were disappointed about given we read previous reviews that breakfast was provided, and we expected at least tea and coffee for the rather high price we had to pay for this apartment. Our host was lovely but I think there are definitely areas for improvement. The location is great though, with access to pools and sea which we enjoyed. Bit hesitant to recommend this place to other visitors.
