The property is excellent and the entire team is ready to comfort you in the best possible way. Right from Rajan, shyam and ravinder, everyone's ready to assist you for all your requirements. I recommend everyone to not miss their bonfire. Brings back lots of memories.

Would prefer the family rooms with atleast two bathrooms.

The property was amazing and a very homely stay ! Food was very yummy and Mr Raj and the staff team were very helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable! It has lesser reviews on here as it is a newer property, but do not misjudge the property as it is a very very nice and comfortable stay!

There is not a single signboard saying "West Wind " . In fact at the drive way, when we asked a few people who were standing at the gate, the said they didnt know about " West wind". So, travellers be sure to call up the contact person and ask him to come to the gate to locate the place - as we did

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The West Wind during my trip to Ooty. I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The owner at The West Wind was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. The staff greeted me and my husband with genuine smiles and provided prompt assistance whenever I needed it. I particularly want to commend the concierge team for their exceptional knowledge of the local area. They provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions and helped us arrange transportation, making our visit even more enjoyable. The room I stayed in was absolutely delightful. It was spacious, immaculately clean, and elegantly decorated. The hotel's facilities were top-notch. “The cozy mantelpiece was our special spot” since that was our favourite area.😊 I strongly recommend this hotel to all those who are planning a trip to Ooty as the quote adapted by the hotel “Where serenity meets the sky” truly connects with the ambience of this place👍

Talking about my experience during my stay here. I started with my research on planning this trip & stays in ooty, where I came across this place called THE WEST WIND, with the very beautiful pictures but 0 Reviews. Was a bit surprised, but wanted to my chances & connected to the owner of this property via Booking.com. Spoke & confirmed my reservations for 2 nights after booking it online. Once we checked in to the property, we got to know that we are the First Customer & as gesture we got our room upgraded to King Room with Garden. Location & Accessibility: Its very Convenient to reach this property. Just around 1.6.kms from St Stephan’s Church. They have sufficient parking available https://goo.gl/maps/7NNw6Qv4VECCNHgb6 About the Stay: The Room came with a living room, Bedroom and an attached bath. The Rooms are very spacious. Plenty of space to walk around. Very well maintained. The view from these rooms are amazing, we get the valley or the mountain view as we just see from the window, or even as we stroll around in the patio. They have given a Rocking chair, near the glass windows just to gaze the beauty of the valley. They have an amazing bed which is 15+ inch I believe. Helped me relax after a tiring drive from Bangalore They had provided us with a Quilt as well a Thick blanket to cope up with the cold. They had also provided heater in the rooms. Bathrooms are spacious too. Provided with all toiletries & towels. Wi-Fi is available too. Food: Breakfast was included. Alu Paratha was the best of all , followed by some yummy omelets. Coffee & Tea was on demand. But also available in our rooms as usual. Lunch / Dinner would be arranged if you pre order it. They had a TV & a Fire Place near by the Dining area, supported by some board games if you are interested. The owner are very friendly , who ensured our pleasant stay. And also suggested things to do in ooty.
