Super clean and tidy

Heather was the best! Check in was effortless. The house is beautiful and Little Black Sands beach is so easy to get to. We also enjoyed watching the foxes deer, and raccoons around the property. This place is an absolute GEM! 💎

It was very clean and close to the beach.

Unfortunately, the first thing the kids said upon walking in was, “Smells like dogs in here.” The grown ups could be polite and try to push through it, but that was definitely the first thing we noticed.

Property was wonderful to stay at with 5 of us friends in motorcycling group. Host was very quick in communications and whole stay went really well. Property has very very partial ocean view due to trees blocking most the view but house setup is wonderful and we will for sure look to stay here in our future rides along that route. We booked this over other listings due to availability of the Hot Tub, but after we went walking down the shore to have food, it was tedious uphill walk back up and it so foggy dark, we got bit lost too. After we reached home, people were tired so decided not to go to hot tub.

One of the bed upstairs was bit smaller to fit two folks, so we managed with one person on sofa in living room. We had communicated clearly that we are group of 5 people but somehow host was in impression that we are only 4. Two people slept in downstairs kind bed, one in main level on right on twin bed and other bedroom on main level had fullsize bed so two people weren't comfortable so one had to sleep in sofa. Host said there is room in back but with all the hassle to take stuff there, portable heater, bedding etc. we decided to not use that room.

The property is big and comfortable. The deck has a beautiful, somewhat distant view of the ocean. The downstairs bedroom is very comfortable.

Unfortunately, my husband and I had really been looking forward to the hot tub and it was not working when we were there. The hot tub was the main reason we picked this property. There is a big bathtub inside with an electric fireplace above it. However, the water in the house doesn't really get hot enough for a bath and the fireplace was also not working. The owner offered a partial refund but, in the end that didn't materialize. The house is not in walking distance to any services but the town is small and driving to dinner is not a burden.
