Good location with really great view

Just really unacceptable. The room was very, very dirty. The sink and the oven did not seem to have been washed as it was full of dust and stains. The kitchen and bath liquid, besides being almost empty, had soap residue (as if it had been left over from last year) as well as hair from hair. Also the clothes hangers were so dusty that we couldn't use them. We had reported this to the owner who brought us new clothes hangers and said "the cleaner is not dirty". Since her house is next door to the room she should check that everything is in order before the new tourists arrive. Generally overrated. We've traveled to many islands, but we've never seen such a filthy mess. Too bad because we could have enjoyed our stay in Leros better.

Very good location at the foothill of the Pandeli Castle "mountain" which harbours within its courtyard the "Panaghia tou Kastrou ",a little and very special orthodox church.The view from the terrace of the "Sweet home with a beautiful view " is indeed what the name says and more ...it's stunning beautiful and serene.The host and her family 👪 were awesome...very friendly,down to earth and more than helpful. They even brought us home made greek style treats...for free.They also are the owners of a small and very neat church which is literally at the "head" of the guest apartament .The latter one has a genuine rustic greek interior ,decorated tastefully. Overall our stay there was a 10+ out of a maximum of 10.We highly recommended to anyone whose looking for a superb accommodation on Leros Island. Laura ,Radu and Kitty 😺!

The family was nice.

Advertised as "The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 2 separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom." Air conditioner didn't work - hot with windows without screens open - was mosquito bitten from head to toe every night, and I mean like 12 bites from my fingers to my elbow. IT WAS NOT 2 BEDROOMS - which is why I selected it and while the owners said it was a mistake - it's still being advertised as 2 rooms 20 days later - so that resounds like bait and switch - as the owner right away offered a second apartment for the same price. I put mom up at Pantelli beach hotel which was less expensive and had nicer facilities. The kitchen was not equipped with much more than odd plates and a few utensils, no kettle and the fridge constantly dethawed water all over my food. The bathroom had a tiny square to shower in - and bugs. The place had a strange metallic smell. The family - while nice, had no concept of privacy or what was intrusive or disruptive. Being woken up by shrieking and whistling children before 8:30 every morning, and again interrupted at 2 when they'd return - set my dog off every time they'd constantly leave or show up - especially because I was trying to work in the evening The owners had no problem doing some kind of renovation using the roof of my house as a junk pile - throwing all kinds of heavy objects over head for 4 days - again disrupting me so that I had to leave to get some peace otherwise my dog would be barking all day in fear. Being woken at 12 am while suffering from a migraine because the mom wanted to know if I was alright because my light hadn't been on all night. Definately awkward and intrusive at midnight. Then a daughter showed up at 5 am - of which the family all got up to greet her from her ferry. Again - no concept that noise would travel - and wake me up.

The location is stunning and quiet, we had the full view of Panteli Bay. The house had everything we needed, considering that we spent the majority of our days trolling around the island and enjoyed the view and the house in the early mornings and evenings. Poppy, Georgina, their father Christos and all of them are lovely, warming and wellcoming people. Christos explained and give us also pamphlets about Leros history! They also have a coffee on the bay for an amazing breakfast or afternoon snack, at a very good prices. They even produce local sweets and liquer. I would definitely recommend them and we will be back in the future.

Probably I would suggest a little makeover of the kitchen - corner. But this doesn't change our overall great feedback about the accommodation!
