Perfect location for exploring. It's small but has everything you could need. It's clean & inviting with tea, coffee, sugar provided and a mini fridge. Very comfy bed, which is important!

"Absolute little gem"

9.0

Beautiful little space with ample room. Decorated really well with plenty of power sockets, shelves etc to make a longer stay really comfortable. We only stayed one night due to travelling on but would recommend to others. Private entrance means you can do your own thing. All the facilities you’d need. The hospitality touches were great and everything provided for you. View was wonderful and beds so comfortable. Great use of space

Location great. Could do with a bit of TLC, some parts were a little grubby, the garden section is shared with the hosts which is something we haven't had before with this type of accommodation so we weren't entirely sure what parts we could use and what we couldn't. The bed is on the short side for tall people like myself so I wasn't able to fully stretch out. But on the whole it was decent value for money, the location was excellent. With a few improvements this place would get a full score. The hosts were very polite and helpful.

Needs some TLC as some parts are a bit run down.

Great little place, safe place to store our bikes before heading to Dover to catch the ferry the next morning.

Shower drained very slow, but was nice an hot!

"An enjoyable, cosy place, full of character, but space is limited; good for a short stay"

9.0

There are two parts to the property. The internal space and external shared access to the large balcony area outside. Internally, it’s very cosy (as estate agents say) and not a lot of space. That’s perfectly fine for a short day but you would likely get cabin fever after a few days if it’s raining and you can’t enjoy the outdoor spacious expanse! There are loads of lovely touches which makes this place a joy. Complimentary tea, coffee and snacks; it’s clean, plenty of towels and there’s care and attention to really make you feel at home. Location, it’s a shortish (10-15min) walk into town/harbour area. There’s a good shower, microwave, small fridge, toaster - so good for a short stay (2 days). There’s a double bed bunk-bed cleverly utilising the limited space but very little headroom on the top bunk - so if you’re claustrophobic you might want to steer away! I didn’t meet the hosts but their messaging was very friendly.

It was a little cramped. Didn’t bother me, this was a handy base from which to explore Folkestone (which is certainly on the way up). But if you don’t like confined spaces, this might be a challenge.

"Comfortable and peaceful"

10.0

The apartment was so cosy and well thought out, I especially loved the peace and quiet of the seating area that leads to the garden. So tranquil

I couldn’t get the tv to work but that is probably a technology problem on my end 🙈 I didn’t contact hosts as I was only there for the evening and left early the next day

Lovely homely place. Fantastic view! The facilities were great and the little touches like the biscuits and treats, our children loved it. A short distance into town.

"Loved it!"

9.0

The Annexe is super snug and cosy with a peaceful sun room and a beautiful view of the sea. We could have just stayed in there sipping tea... Everything is thought out and in perfect order. Sophia is a natural and friendly host and she made sure we were very well looked after. Her cats are stunning! Our daughter loved the big TV. It was a great place to start to explore Folkestone as newbies, as it's close and very well connected to the centre of the town. Highly recommend (just leave a space for us!).
