The peace and quiet, the location and we had a good welcome from the owner

we didn't have anywhere to hang our clothes but we managed to empty one of the drawers underneath the sofa bed to put our clothes in also it would have been nice to have a little telly for the evening but it made a change to listen to some music on the radio.

Fresh breakfast left for us - gem of a place - everything one could wish for and my phone worked fine there. Can’t wait to go back.

"Wonderful weekend getaway"

Simply everything, the cabin is fully equipped. Very tasteful interior. Very effective log burner. Loved the goats, chickens and rabbits. Clear, comprehensive directions to the house/field. Owners very friendly & accomdating .

Nothing really. I guess the location isn't totally off grid, I'm not bothered, but if you want total solitude this isn't as its on a large grassy plot with the 2 cabins. Re logs for wood burner, we only used a couple for one night but you buy a basket & we couldn't use it all. That said the logs were well seasoned & easy to light.

A beautiful quiet tranquil location. Paula and hubbie were so friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and so cute. The facilities were superb. Great night sleep! The pillows and duvet were beautiful. Very rested.
