It was clean.

The bedding didn't fit right. Not even milk,tea and sugar were provided. The Ad was misleading bcos there is NO ACCESS to a beach or to anything besides a communal pool. The linen was changed only once during our 4 day stay,despite us requesting at least twice. The shower door didn't close so water wud flow into the room. 1 tiny bar of soap was left for us to use for 4 days.

The apartment was beautiful and serene. The host and guard were very friendly and helpful. The willingly accommodated our late check-in request. Modern and neat interior. Well maintained and secure.

We arrived very late so the drive from the airport was dark and quiet. Once we arrived we thought we would be able to have a hot drink , I am aware it is a self-catering apartment but usually the basic tea and coffee amenities are provided. This would have been helpful as it was lay-over for us and we did not have any consumables. I specifically booked this apartment because we needed the washing machine. We started the machine and continued with other tasks like reading and watching T.V. After a while we heard strange water noises only to discover the apartment was flooded. We spent two hours mopping and wiping floors and very dirty water spillage from the shower and sink. We felt dirty but couldn't shower and the washing was left soaking wet as we had to stop the machine. My furry slippers were soaked. After a night of noisy guests in the halls we woke up to find the water finally drained. I had to shower after that experience, however , we had a repeat of the flooding episode at which point we just wanted to leave. I know had to incur the extra expense of R250 to do my laundry as well as lose half a day of travel time. I also couldn't get back into the shower to get my brand new face wash and razor so it got left behind resulting in a further cost of R150. Unfortunately it was terrible and we left more exhausted, I still feel that had their not been an issue with the plumbing I would gladly recommend or return. To us, we feel like we should be refunded and the issue needs to be sorted out. We were very grateful that we had a mop , bucket and cloth. Wish the review could have been positive.

Shower leaked, spilled water all over and they won’t fix it instead they will tell you how to make a very high shower head change positions if you are not super tall, get ready to mop every time you shower. No mats in the bathroom till you complain No servicing of the apartments Nobody to communicate with or guide you till you get hold of the host Communication was horrible, you have to find the host, if 1 of the phones is on good luck to you
