Hotel IKON Phuket - SHA Extra Plus

We had an amazing stay! everything was absolutely perfect. A special thank you to Retar, Gail, and Jaja for their outstanding service, and to Peter and the entire team, who made sure everything was to our complete satisfaction and welcomed every request with kindness and professionalism. אחרי חודש בתאילנד הגענו לאייקון ללילה אחד וממש הופתענו מאיכות החדרים ביחס למחיר, ההפתעה הכי טובה בטיול שלנו, חדרים נוחים עם נוף לים, צוות מדהים שקיבל את פנינו ועזר בכל בקשה בלי לחשוב פעמיים, חזרנו לעוד 2 לילות בהמשך היה מצויין!

1. The view was decent (we took the most expensive room). 2. The pool was a nice feature and was cleaned several times during our 9-night visit. 3. Close to 7-eleven and good massage shop (i think it was called lemongrass). 4. Staying right next to the forest was a unique experience. We even took the opportunity to hike from the hotel up to the Big Buddha.

1. Elevator Logistics. The buildings layout is creative (there are 3 of them), but reaching our room required three different elevators. They are incredibly slow, have no ventilation or AC, and feel like a suffocating sauna. Since they are shared with staff and laundry trolleys, a "quick" trip back to the room for a forgotten item easily takes 10-20 minutes. 2. Inadequate Shuttle. The "shuttle" is just an 8-seater tuk-tuk running once per hour. With around 80 rooms in the hotel, it was almost always full, making it nearly impossible to get a seat. Combine it with an item you forgot and you need to "quickly" run and get it using their elevators and your day is already a bit nicer. 3. No AC in Public Spaces. While the lobby design is nice, big, and modern, there is no air conditioning there either, making it uncomfortably hot. 4. One staff member was passive-aggressive during our arrival. Due to a UI limitation on booking.com, I had to message the hotel directly to clarify bed preferences for our three rooms. Instead of resolving the mix-up, the staff argued with us in an irritated tone, insisting it was my fault. It was a very poor start to a 9-night stay.

Escolhemos um dos quartos superiores para ter vista para o mar e tínhamos de apanhar 3 elevadores diferentes!

Le service était impeccable et les chambres spacieuses et propres. Nous avons parlé au personnel du fait que nous souhaitions raccourcir notre séjour comme nous l'avions demandé via Booking. Ce qui a été fait dans l'instant. Nous avons eu une vue mer très appréciable. Nous étions un peu décentrés par rapport aux zones de fête telles que Patong mais ce n'était pas plus mal pour le calme et pouvions nous y rendre en tuk tuk ou Grab très facilement.

Friendly and helpfull staff, comfortable bed and easy access to all areas

I like the hotel but its very odd as they havr build a new building right behind the original hotel (extended the hotel) so thr lift arrengements were very awkward.
