The question really should be, what didn't I like ... of which I have no answers! From the entrance to the building right at the start, I was impressed with the attention to detail and elegance of the entry area and, in my suite, it was everything and more I could have expected. The suite was extremely spacious, well appointed and comfortable - with beautiful antiques, loveseat (perfect for watching TV), four-poster bed with lovely linens and a shower to die for. Being unfamiliar with the Cardiff area, I didn't know how perfect the location was, on a stunning street, close to coffee shops, restaurants and shops a few blocks away. As you can tell, I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice to stay here and would do it again in a heartbeat. And, let me add that the hosts, Pedro and Alina, were responsive and I had the clear impression a wonderful stay was their priority of which I appreciated! You'll love staying at 82 Cathedral ... don't hesitate.

We didn't have a great first experience of the property. There was rubbish overflowing from four wheelie bins located at the front entrance, our booking was threatened to be cancelled, despite payment being taken in full, if we didn't send photos of my passport and credit card prior to arrival. There was no microwave despite it being stated there was one. The main living area light had only 1 of 8 bulbs working. Cleaning and cleaning equipment was needed. We contacted the property managers about these issues and later that evening a cleaner arrived and rectified most issues. Parking is inconvenient and accessed vis a very narrow lane at the rear of the property and entry from the carpark area is through a different property in the same complex. The shower and cooktop were complex to operate and not intuitive or user friendly.

The suite was outstanding in its beauty.

We would have appreciated a handbook in the suite explaining the shower, cook top, and how to turn up the temperature in the suite. We were unable to access this information online. We aren't sure if this information was available somewhere. We contacted the host for assistance but had poor cellphone reception within the suite and we realized that the host we had contacted wasn't fully available. At one point the suite shower pan drain became backed up and we had to clean it out ourselves.

The location was good and also room was ok

Heating system not working properly and also hot water problem and wash basin was very small and no microwave oven in kitchen and bottle of water and some tea and coffee was not available as some one came from long journey face hardship

Spacious, cozy, comfortably furnished, well equipped kitchen; excellent location near great restaurants (Michelin-* included), shops, and the beautiful green parks of central Cardiff.

Amazing Victorian property with complementing furniture,location

Little touches would be nice like kitchen roll,some water and a little milk in fridge for arrivel rather than having to go out and terristastal tv channels rather than just Netflix,prime

I loved the apartment - everything I hoped and more. The bed was huge and more comfortable than my own bed at home …lush ! All was spotless and it had been decorated and furnished really thoughtfully.

Nothing except maybe previous customers maybe have been making off with teaspoons!?
