GBExcellent location on a very quiet street near city center.
Check-in instructions were sent only two hours before arrival while we were already on our way. The address was incomplete (missing the house number), which made the property difficult to find. The apartment was very dirty: floors were not properly cleaned, there were many stains on the carpet, and there was mould in the shower. The washing machine was hidden in a cluttered storage area and was very hard to access. The doors were difficult to open as they were stuck in the carpet — even for adults, and impossible for a child to use. As the flat is on the upper floor, the tilted windows limited natural light, and the bathroom lighting was very poor.

It took a while to figure out the one way system to access the car park. I didn’t appreciate the very early text from the host to tell me that it would result in a fine if we drove off with the parking permit.

GBThe penthouse apartment was beautifully decorated to a high standard, appointed with very comfortable furniture, and excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. It was spacious, airy and perfectly located enabling us to walk to York Minster within 10 minutes. Although in a modern mews building with many other apartments, it was extremely quiet and secure. The communication between Dan the managing agent and myself was excellent as he was very helpful and responsive to questions. We were also given a dedicated parking place on-site for our car (included in the rental cost) which was great! I went with my husband and friends and we all agreed that the apartment was wonderful and certainly added to the enjoyment of our stay. We would definitely recommend it to others wanting a break in York!

Arrival instructions could have been a little clearer. The building entrance is not immediately visible, especially as we arrived a little later than planned, so it was dark. Led to us wandering around the building a few times looking for the door.
GBLovely and spacious, the location is great. Had everything we needed. All really easy to use. We had a lovely stay. Definitely would return
