The property was comfortable and spacious so lots of space for family members to be together but also to have privacy from each other when necessary.

On the first night we did not have hot water to shower. The notes indicated that the water would be hot. We then read the instructions to ensure we did have hot water on our second night.

The house and grounds were amazing. Very clean inside the house. The rooms were all very comfortable and the host Adam was very helpful throughout our stay.

If I could fault it in any way the rear garden could have done with a bit of TLC as it is a little overgrown in places. But this did not spoil our stay in any way.

The grill oven was not clean. We didn’t use it. No showergel kitchen knifes were not sharp

It was our first time living in such a space with old-style interior decorations. Spacious area for the family. Kitchen is very well equipped - you just have to navigate where things are. And you have to get your own cooking oil!

We did not receive automatic message for check-in details even on the day of check-in, which made us a bit anxious when the host did not respond to my message/call. Luckily, Adam called back not long after and sorted everything out. Some appliances (i.e. coffee machine - mould in filter, dryer - a lot of lint) need a bit of cleaning. Dryers were malfunctioned. The shower unit for the bath upstairs malfunctioned - no hot water; no problem with the tap. The way to the accommodation is not straightforward - a pin on the map/coordinates of the exact location could be helpful.

Characterful and quirky . Beautiful old and interesting furniture plus decorative items . Very comfortable beds . Quiet and peaceful location. Beautiful places to visit nearby .. including Tehidy Woods and surfing beaches. The owner responded well to our queries .. thank you 🙏

Aga takes a time to master .. (but having the two hot plates as back up was helpful ) We had a couple of plumbing issues ( one shower / one toilet) otherwise all went well . NB … FYI curtains are not blackout type .

Rooms are all a good size, with one being huge. Lovely wood burner and plenty of fridge space and other utilities. Location is amazing, can get anywhere ... If you can get in and out. We would go back, but need to acknowledge some problems.

We had some issues. On arrival we didn't have any codes or property info and couldn't get in. The toddler bed is actually a crib only suitable for a child who can't yet stand, we had to go buy a double air bed, bedding and a pump for our 2.5 year old. Four power cuts during our stay and the gates near the house are mains electric powered meaning we were stuck and only managed to get out one day because one of our party had a pair of plyers and we youtubed how to disconnect them. The heating, hot water and cooker are all on the aga style cooker - which trips if it overheats and everything is off for a few hours. It also prioritises the heating over hot water if both are requested. Only one set of front door keys located, not enough for a large property.

I enjoyed it and was satisfied with the service .The stay was absolutely peaceful and more spacious especially for the kids .The calm and happy space with nature friendly atmosphere helped us to take lots of photos.will definitely come back to stay if we got another Chance.
