Very Clean a good welcome pack including meet and greet by the lovely Franck and team who made sure everything was to the prescribed standard without out them it would have been just another holiday rental. Even offered to help unload car and most of all was at the property ready and waiting to show us around at check in and also check out .The service by Franck + team was good old fashioned personal friendly service with a smile . The property was well equipped with all utensils and linens as well as cleaning supplies

Could do with sun bed on upper roof terrace

We didn't like it much. This apartment looked promising on paper, but upon arrival, the entire Origo Mare resort felt eerie somehow. And the next morning, it became apparent why. A simple glance at the cracked pavements, the empty supermarket and the other neglected facilities is enough to see that Origo Mare is no longer being taking care of. And the state of disrepair and abandonment seemed to apply to this apartment as well. The first thing we saw is the broken bidet, and that was just the beginning. When we tried to have a shower, we found out that hot water only lasted for 2 min max, and during our 6 days/5 nights we couldn’t have a proper shower. Besides not working, water was dropping from the leaking boiler onto the toaster and microwave. To top it all, when leaving the property for the day, we found that the terrace door could not be locked from inside, leaving the residence accessible to potential intruders. We reported these issues to the property manager, who acknowledged them but was unable to make repairs, other than leaving a plastic bottle to collect leaking water. We contacted the property owner (Karolina) and the response was even less helpful: since the other guests "did not mention any of the problems you are experiencing" (none of the 8 previous guests, that is), therefore those problems don't exist. Well, I’m no engineer, but I know a malfunctioning boiler when I see one. Her dismissive reply was probably the worst conceivable response a property owner can give. When we point out issues to other property owners, they invariably try to fix them. Ultimately, when we checked out, we were greeted not only by the property manager, but also two engineers who came to REPLACE the boiler.

- Broken boiler - Broken bidet - Broken kitchen light - Ants - Dangerously broken roller blind belt in bedroom, ideal to hurt yourself when rolling them down (unwary of its state) - Sliding wardrobe doors are very heavy and don't slide properly, so they're tough to use - The mattress quality is quite poor: too thin and therefore not very comfortable, etc. Moreover, she felt insulted when I just commented that I didn’t understand the disparity between the number of days of our stay and the number of pods for the dishwasher and washing machine. She left just ONE for each (one pod, not one box as she argues). Now, I have travelled to +80 countries and been to all sorts of apartments, but this is the first one in which I have to buy an entire pack of detergent/dishwasher tablets for a few days. The owner also considered toilet paper as part of the welcome gifts for her guests, and even argued that she knew “very few properties that provide these supplies”. First of all, let me seize this chance to thank her for her unimaginable kindness in sharing a whopping 3 rolls for six days for two people. Secondly, toiletries are mentioned in the facilities section of the website, and therefore cannot be considered selfless "gifts". And thirdly, the next apartment we stayed on had pleenty of dishwasher tablets, detergent, toilet paper, etc. for just 3 days. Did we happen to find one of those “very few properties”? No, we just found a NORMAL property catered to tourists. I think she mistook us for tenants who would spend here months, but we were clearly tourists who were there on holiday for some days. A holiday ruined for the aforementioned reasons. If Karolina took measures steps to resolve these issues, you may never encounter them. But that would be because two guinea pigs where there first to experience them and point them out.

Para comenzar el recibimiento de Franck fue excepcional, explicando con detalle y claridad, además de su amabilidad. El alojamiento, muy limpio y cuidado, con todo lo que puedas necesitar, e incluso más. Tiene dos terrazas amplias, que pueden disfrutar también las mascotas . La zona es muy tranquila y está alejada, así que si buscas tranquilidad es ideal. Lo recomiendo.

La localizacion

La ubicación, una zona tranquila, cerca de Lajares y Corralejo. Con dos terrazas cerradas y amplias donde mi perritas estuvieron muy cómodas.

I absolutely loved everything ! Super clean, and the kitchen and utilities were honestly above my expectations. Anything you need, this property offers. Everything is new and clean and myself and my family felt so comfortable being there. Honestly, I was so sad to leave, I felt so at home. The accommodation for my baby was spectacular, we had a high chair, her own plastic colourful cutlery and plates, a large cot that you can move around the room if you wish with plenty of fresh and extra bedding and towels. We truly appreciated the quietness of the area, night time was magical, you can see all the stars on the rooftop and enjoy a peaceful glass of wine. The mornings were beautiful too, as you can sit out in the front porch and enjoy the sun rise with a tasty fresh cup of coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine. Franck and Tristan were exceptional and such genuine, welcoming and kind people who made us feel so welcome to their country. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable and were seconds away from replying to any enquiries we had via Whatsapp. We were welcomed with both Franck and Tristan waiting outside the property, once we entered, there was a lovely welcome pack with drinks, brochures and were given a tour of the house explaining how to use all the utilities and where everything was. Thank you ever so much for all your efforts, it really didn’t go unnoticed, we will always remember and appreciate this holiday.
