Lago Resort - Best Views in Kisumu

The breakfast was Okey. The location is a bit off the main highway and so maybe no late arrivals because of where it is situated. But for a stay in the location is perfect. But for someone who wants to see around it was a bit off

Clean rooms, helpful Staff who were on standby throughout, cool, clean and quite environment, excellent views of Kisumu city

The wifi was abit unstable and frustrating, I had to supplement with my own bundles, but the staff raised the issue to those concerned and they promised to work on it. The road leading to the hotel is Abit Stony, but for a short distance as the longer stretch is well tarmaked. The location is ideal for those who want to spend quiet time away from noisy town.

The morning sunrise was the best to see.

This so - called resort should not even be on Booking com as it is certainly not even anywhere near to being called a resort. The rooms were dirty and the rooms allocated were nowhere near the photos shown on Booking.com. To get to this place is also a nightmare in itself and one can't even get a Bolt or Uber to get you here. The breakfast was absolutely terrible adding to the cold shower treatment . We got out of this hellhole as fast as we would 🙏

Breakfast was okay. As for the location, the road is very bad. Very rocky. Going to Kisumu town from the resort the road is really terrible, and coming back to the resort from Kisumu practically impossible. Now for the good part, the staff was very friendly, Hillary. He made me feel welcome and tried his level best to make me feel comfortable. The view of the city at night is spectacular ❤️

The bathroom and toilet was dirty. The internet is also terrible so if you're hoping to get some work done online this might not be the place for you. The road is really bad, rocks everywhere. The paint in the room was also coming off.

The location was great. The view was superb

Good location with scenic views of Kisumu and the lake.

Access to the place is a bit tricky. Be prepared to take an uber to and from the place.

The property does have good views and a wonderful garden. I enjoyed working under a shade one of the afternoons. Hillary and the chef were very kind and attentive to my needs and requests. Hillary went out of his way to try and make my stay comfortable. On accommodation, the linens and towel were changed as per International standards and they were clean/sparkling white. I appreciated the hotel giving me a heads up on the road and redirecting me to a longer but better route.

Three things: 1. The furniture needs fixing. The tiny working table and chairs were all squabbling. The garden furniture has been neglected. The dining tables were obviously built for tall people. 2. My bathroom was dirty. It may have been topically cleaned daily, but it has accumulated a lot of scum over a period and simply looks filthy. Please hire a cleaning company to come and scrub the tiles. 3. The drive up/down to the resort is a pain. This is obviously not within their control, but i wish somebody could do something about it. The views could not make up for it.
