Mount Kilimanjaro 360 view Cottage

The hotel is just exceptional. In the middle of the forest like a treehouse of your childhood dreams, but for adults ☺️ Interior design is just out of this world and the staff and owners most welcoming and helpful.

Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und kompetent. Das Frühstück war klasse, es gab frisch gepressten Saft nach Wahl, Granola, Pancakes,… Man erfüllte uns jeden Wunsch. Die Zimmer waren neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Wir empfehlen das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter! Danke für die nette Zeit bei Euch!

The hotel was originally a restaurant that was expanded. There are 8 rooms and the room was excellent. The staff was quick to help with everything. The owner even brought his wife later in the evening to meet us and say hello. There is a lot of pride in this hotel and the view the Mount Kilimanjaro was awesome from the restaurant. They gave a free tour through the adjoining coffee fields with 2 young local boys.

The room was a little dark and the road to the hotel is about 1/4 mile unpaved. It was a little unnerving to drive up the first time, but easier the next few times. While it looks close, it is probably unrealistic to walk to any bar or restaurant nearby which is usually a major factor for hotel selection for us.

Beautiful lodge, we were treated like family by Baraka, Muksin and Katherine. Peter and Mamood took us for a lovely walking safari and guided us around coffee farms and fields and showed us all the plants and wildlife. Very clean and perfectly decorated rooms with a big ecological focus - solar powered and natural materials. Despite being surrounded by farms we did not see a single insect during our time there. We were very well looked after - lovely staff, welcome drinks as soon as we arrived, amazing food at the restaurant, breakfast with fresh fruits and beautiful views all around. Restaurant food was amazing - freshly prepared and ingredients are farmed locally or on site. We felt like having some banana crisps with drinks at dinner, despite it not being on the menu, we asked Baraka and he insisted it can be done and brought some freshly prepared for us 10 minutes later. - truly amazing. Every detail is there - every amenity you want is provided. We wished we could have stayed for a whole week but we will definitely be coming back
