La Casa Palmera - Caminito Del Rey

We absolutely loved La Casa Palmera, the location is perfect for touring the Costa del Sol, approximately 30 minutes from Malaga and the coastal towns. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which is perfect in every way. Everything you need is available. And what a wonderful, quiet night's sleep you'll have. Outside is a beautiful terrace with table, chairs and loungers. Wonderful views while relaxing with our morning coffee. The pool is fabulous with loungers and a beautiful seated area with tv, mini bar and comfy couches to relax and take a break from the sun. Lots of secure parking. The lovely local village has a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and a wonderful delicatessen where we bought our fresh bread, meats and cheese each morning. Pizarra town is a short distance away with some lovely restaurants open in the evening, try La Talega, excellent Italian food at a fraction of the resort prices. What really made our holiday one of the most memorable is our wonderful hosts, Tracey and Russell and their two beautiful dogs, from restaurant recommendations, places to visit, any requests, Tracey and Russell are more than happy to help. We really enjoyed the lovely chats with them each day. Will we return, a huge most definitely, thanks Tracey and Russell for an amazing holiday!

Russ and Tracey were amazing hosts - friendly, helpful and very generous with their knowledge of the area. They provided a fantastic breakfast! The accommodation was comfortable and had everything you could need for a great stay.The location was peaceful with lovely views of the countryside but with easy access to amenities and even the coast! We had a great stay at Casa La Palmera and would definitely recommend it. Thank you, Russ and Tracey. You've certainly created a 'happy place' for all to enjoy.

It's a lovely place, we wish we could have stayed longer. The owners are great people, we'd recomnend this place to anyone who wants to stay near caminito del rey and this beautiful landscape.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation spot! The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our experience. The breakfasts featuring delicious local products were a highlight every morning, adding a delightful touch of authenticity to our stay. The peaceful atmosphere of the place makes it highly recommended, especially for families seeking a tranquil getaway.

The temperature in shower hard to regulate, the beds not very comfortable and mattressess creaking a bit.

We loved every aspect of our 3-night stay here! We were made to feel very welcome before we’d even arrived, thanks to the great communication and helpful directions received. We were in the one-bedroom apartment, which was cosy, full of rustic charm and tastefully decorated. It was modern and well-equipped, with many thoughtful extras, such as bottled water, milk, coffee and tea as well as a huge selection of DVDs and board games. Everywhere – inside and out – was spotlessly clean. The location is ideal: set in the beautiful Andalucian countryside, with wonderful panoramic views from the terrace, yet just 25 minutes from Malaga and Caminito del Rey. One of the highlights was the most amazing continental breakfast basket delivered to our door each morning, at whatever time we chose! A lovely selection of fresh quality products, including homemade marmalade and the most amazing yoghurt! Perhaps what stood out most though was the attention and kindness from hosts Russ and Tracey – they were always on hand to help and answer any questions, yet very discreet at the same time. They had plenty of good suggestions as to what to do and where to eat in the local area. We would not hesitate to rebook when we are next in the area – thank you, Russ and Tracey.
