Sacred Lotus - Vegan Café X Hostel

Nada. La habitación olía muchisimo a cigarrillo. El olor era insoportable. Ni con el ac se iba. Asqueroso. Dormí fatal toda la noche.

La habitación olía muchísimo a cigarrillo, un olor fuerte y constante que no se iba ni con el aire acondicionado. Era bastante desagradable y me costó dormir. Lo comuniqué al alojamiento y no hicieron nada al respecto, lo cual empeora bastante la experiencia.

Sinceramente, ya solo me quería ir.

Pedí un reembolso prácticamente en el mismo momento de hacer la reserva porque me equivoqué y, además, tenía miedo de que me volvieran a poner en la habitación que olía a cigarrillo, donde era imposible estar. La respuesta fue confusa desde el principio. Me dijeron que podían “hacerme el reembolso”, pero en realidad implicaba que yo tuviera que pagar una cantidad igualmente. Es decir, no era un reembolso real y yo ya había pagado. O sea, básicamente me estaban haciendo pagar el doble. Además, con tantos cambios de habitación, acabaron perdiéndome una camisa, que después encontré tirada en el pasillo. Entre eso, la mala gestión y la falta de soluciones, la experiencia fue bastante frustrante.

All vegan which was really nice, it was clean. The food was good.

On arrival we were shown to our rooms, 4 of us, 2 in each room. After about 10 minutes in our room, somebody kept knocking at our door, telling us we had to swap with our friends. I was mid shower, which I told them, but they said I had to change right then and there. There was no apology, and I, half showered, had to change rooms. The cafe also had some problems, serving half our table breakfast within 10 minutes and the other half took 50 minutes, despite them only waiting for an avocado toast. It’s also important to mention that the private room isn’t very private, it is connected to the dorm room by the ceiling, as in the wall doesn’t touch the ceiling, so you can still hear everything happening in the dorm.

The staff were great to deal with.

The location was a bit far from the city centre but close to the market

Nous avons était réveillé par un local dans le dortoir à 5h du matin qui faisait sa vie comme si elle était en chambre privé

Amazing on site cafe. Roof terrace. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept on this trip. Staff were, without exception, amazing.
