Toilet is for the campervan and small which works manually by opening the hole and flushing. It is a container room and when there was heavy rain, it was very noisy
DEAmazing view! Beautiful area, quiet but close enough to the city. Good interior and well equipped kitchen. Great bathroom.
It was clean at first sight, but not as clean as I expected at this price. Dust in bathroom corner, only becomes visible when door is closed. Dust under the bed and at the bottom of the windows.
AUWe found it a bit cramped, the cabin got very hot during the day and being a bit older would have like a railing to get up the steps. The long grass around closer to the cabins could've been mowed or slashed and the cobwebs on the railing And around the cabin could have been removed.

USView from the cabin is breathtaking. Host was accomodating as well.
However we had to take extra care while using the restroom. The flush mechanism in toilet has a flaw design. Although the flush works, it doesn’t flushes it, you have to put the extra water from the sink or a bottle to flush it properly. Additionally, water used for flush is limited and we had to call the host twice to refill it for which we are grateful. If you are a party of more than 1 , then it would be challenge to use restroom effectively considering the above flush mechanism.
USThe location was amazing. peaceful and an absolutely amazing view. The animals on the property were a pleasure to watch. I felt very safe at this location and it was easy to get all the needed check in information .
DEstunning view over Rotorua, cute tiny house with all amenities you could ask for. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped, perfect for longer stay in my opinion (I stayed 4 nights, but could’ve definitely stayed longer). Very safe due to gated access. Farmland with alpakas and sheep. Communication with property manager super prompt and smooth! Distance to Rotorua town only about 10-15 mins by car. Another bonus of the location is this house is that up the hill you don’t smell the typical sulfur smell of Rotorua (which personally didn’t bother me anyway)

The drive up the mountain, particularly at night, was not the most pleasant experience. If you’re looking to spend some time in the city, this probably isn’t the best choice. Like some others have said, the place is very small - it was fine for just me but would have been a real squeeze with an extra person. My first night there was very heavy rainfall and strong gusts of wind - the cabin was shaking in the weather, and I would have stayed somewhere else on my second night if the same weather was expected. This weather also made the ‘driveway’ behind the cabins muddy and not very accessible. When I contacted the host about whether it was safe to park there, they said that ‘they had been there two days ago and it was fine’. I tried to say that there had been very heavy rainfall since then, but they had already ended the call.
NZLocation is imacculate. The view from the cabin is something really pleasing.
