Il Moro di Ballarò - Palermo Rooms

Nice and clean accommodation, with a friendly and helpful owner. The location, close to the central station, markets, and main Palermo sights, is great. However, the nearby streets were quite rough — but we didn’t feel unsafe and considered it part of the Palermo experience.

The wardrobe/rack for clothes was rather small, and we could hear some noise from the neighbors above our room.

Everything was good, very clean and very beautiful room and bathroom. Very friendly host Carlo. The location is good, near Ballaro market. I recommend.

Very nice apartment, ideally located in the heart of the old town and close to the Ballarò market. Quality equipment and very clean. Colorful neighborhood is very particular suitable for real tourists on the road I recommend it!

The appartment was very clean and the host was very nice, overall it was a very good price for what you get.

We did not like the location of the apartment at all, it was very dirty and during night time also scary, especially for two young females. If I had known this before hand, I would not have booked this apartment. I know that the owners unfortunately can’t do anything about it, but if I am on holiday I want to feel safe.

The room and facilities were super clean and modern

We did not sleep at all due to a neighbor next door coughing and spitting all nights . There is no sound proof so it was like she was in our room. It ruined our day because we were too tired to follow our planned visit The location is horrible in a dirty neighborhood. You have to walk through garbage and filthy streets to reach the nice part of town. It is adjacent to the ZTL zone so almost impossible to avoid it and we did not receive the necessary help to avoid the fine and pay for a daily pass.

The room was clean and the host was nice.

the neighborhood was really bad. the streets were more dirty than we can imagine (we saw a cockroaches family on the building hallway) and walking on evening was creepy, maybe even dangerous (even if the city center is near). I encourage you to pay more for something on the historic center, we really regretted it.

Apartment is nice and clean and located in very authentic part of Palermo. Hosť was very nice and gave us advises what to see and what to attend
