Donna Rosa - Your Home in Taormina

It's a beautiful stylish and spacious home. We definitely enjoyed our stay here, it was in a quiet street, but near and walkable to the city center and lots of restaurants. We really liked the vibes. We also got a discount when we ate at a restaurant owned by the same owner. We had to walk down a while to get to the provided private parking, but it's fine because we understand that Taormina is an old hilly city.

Le logement est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville, tout en étant dans une rue calme et peu fréquentée. C’est un vrai plus, surtout en août lorsque la rue principale est envahie par les touristes. L’appartement est spacieux, agréable, et la terrasse offre une très belle vue sur l’Etna. Benny et Loris sont aussi très disponibles et donnent de bonnes recommandations.

En revanche, plusieurs points sont à prendre en compte : l’insonorisation est faible (nous avons été réveillés la nuit par des bruits de chaises au-dessus, des voisins bruyants et un chien qui sautait), et l’équipement est un peu limité si vous souhaitez cuisiner (pas de lave-vaisselle, peu de couteaux, etc.). À noter également : il est indispensable de prévoir un parking. Celui proposé est idéalement situé, mais coûte 25 € par jour — et non 15 € comme mentionné dans une réponse de l’hôte à un voyageur en 2024. Cela alourdit encore un tarif déjà élevé, ce qui rend le rapport qualité/prix discutable

Comfortable beds and airconditionong during the summer heat. Overlooking Mount Etna.

A basic accommodation, great for one to two nights only. A makeshift kitchen with basic amenities. Breakfast minimal for two people for two nights stay. In plastic. The bathroom is basic with a small shower. The most disappointing is the checkin time at 1600 and checkout at 1000 (six hours). To checkin earlier becomes a cost and you’ll know about it through the business like messaging. The least like property during our stay. .

La habitación era muy bonita y amplia. La cama era comodísima. Estaba muy bien equipado. La atención y comunicación con el personal fue muy buena, fácil y fluida.

Mejoraría la insonorización del apartamento, ya que escuchábamos a los huéspedes de al lado. Por otro lado, no sé si aceptan mascotas, pero durante nuestra estancia en el apartamento de al lado había un perro que hacía mucho ruido y ladraba de forma persistente, llegando a ser molesto en ocasiones.

La ubicación, el departamento y la amabilidad de los host.me ayudaron todos los días haciéndome las reservas para ir a las playas.

PERFETTO. This place is pretty special. Absolutely fabulous outside space which is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Having breakfast in the garden with a view of Etna is priceless. Inside, you will find a spotlessly clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished house which has everything you could possibly need. Comfortable bed, good shower and fabulous aircon which was welcome in the very hot weather. Good communication with host who left drinks in the fridge and snacks for breakfast (grazie mille). A good supermarket can be reached in less than 5 minutes as well as bars and restaurants. Another couple of minutes and you reach the gate which takes you to the main street, Corso Umberto. Perfectly located accommodation as very peaceful but equally very accessible to the centre of town. Wish we could stay longer but will definitely return. Highly recommend 10/10. Grazie mille
