Basildon Essex Modern 3 Bed House for 7 guests Free Parking and WiFi

I am NOT happy with my stay, me and my cousins stayed at this house thinking it was going to be a a nice quick place to stay at ready for our flight the next day. Appon arriving we started noticing damage and just pure filth in the house. For starters the PIN code I received to get into the house was wrong so I had to call up the host and wait 10 minutes on hold because he could not find the right code and then as we got in there was a toastie maker left out on the side with food all in it plate mug and cutlery dirty hush on the side, the microwave had food all inside of it on the walls and the bins where filthy. In the living room space there was mud stains all across the carpet and a sofa bed that had a broken leg which made it extremely awful and awkward to sleep on. Moving to the back of the house the first back door did not lock the key would not lock the door so we had to leave it open all night. The second back door would lock but the seal was broken so there was a constant draft of bitingly cold air through our stay. In the garden there where rubbish bags and MOUNDS of cigarettes butts scatter over the patio and on the table 2 ashtrays filled with cigarette butts and what I believe to be cannabis ends. Going upstairs there was broken lampshade , wardrobe and ligjts , I appreciate it was a 1 night stay and a wardrobe wouldn’t be needed as much however it is the principal of it , the pillows and mattresses had stains on them, in the bathroom the shower head was wet when we arrived and the floor around it looking like someone had had a quick shower before we got there and there was MOLD around the shower Overall I am not happy with this stay and want a manger to get back to me and a compensation sorted. Close to where I was travelling to. Great parking. Nice size garden. Clean kitchen facilities and bath tub.

Confusing to find. The decking in the back garden is a slight concern due to a large fracture of wood near the step, caught my toe on it. Bed downstairs was not comfortable. The doors and skirting need a clean.

Good location and free parking available, reasonable price. Good for a group of friends if you need a basic place to stay and are not planning on using the kitchen too much.

Very limited utensils, plates, mugs etc in the kitchen. Not enough available for the number of people staying in the property. Also some issues in the property which need fixing e.g. flickering light, broken curtain rail, wobbly sofa
