The location of the property was good. If the hosts were better at managing the property, and the amenities offered worked it would have been a better stay.

We requested the pool to be heated, and verified it was working prior to booking this property. Upon arrival, we had been given the wrong code for the front door, had to wait 15 min past check in time in the cold to enter, arrived to a cold home (we wore jackets indoors for the first 1.5 hrs), and the pool was freezing. They told us we could turn up the temperature and the pool would start heating up - this was all a lie. No maintenance person came by even though we checked in hourly. We were there for two days and no one showed up, or updated us, they just kept re-iterating a rehearsed phrase that they have noted our concern and will be in touch. Since it was a cold weekend in Austin, and we had kids we were counting on the pool/hot tub as part of our vacation activities. We would have booked another property or hotel had we have been told that the heating was not working. They did not do anything to compensate us for the wasted time, the frustrated kids, or show that fixing the issue was a priority. I believe they knew ahead of time that it does not work but wanted to secure our booking regardless. Cleanliness was okay, there was staining on the couch and cobwebs in the windows. This felt like we are being mislead.

The place is so stylist and clean. It has all the things you need. Very accessible to downtown, supermarkets and all.
