Bubble on the Beach - Dar Danse

Such an amazing spot right on the beach. The host was super friendly and shared great stories about the place and the adorable animals there. My girlfriend and I are vegan/vegetarian, and they made the best food we had in our whole trip. The room was clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. We even asked to stay a bit longer to walk the dogs on the beach no problem at all. Just a dream location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We had a fantastic stay at Dar Danse staying in the Room called L’Artiste. Warmest welcome and hospitality throughout our stay from the team. The actual location and Hotel is top, a stones throw from the ocean. Quiet luxury. The way the hotel is layed out makes It is possible to be private as well as being able to meet some other guests at dinner without things feeling forced. Great home cooked breakfast and dinner.(a deal maker/breaker for us). Fire was lit for dinner. We were inspired by the interior of the whole place with beautifully finished Tadelak bathrooms, tiled floors, hand crafted wooden details. There is a focus on animal welfare and we were offered a nice dog called Luca to take for a walk which was great. We had a Hamman and Massage which was also very welcome. Next time if the surf was better I would take definitely rent a board from Dar Danse.

the most perfect getaway, full of charm and character! provides such a stunning place to have the most relaxing, calm holiday, absolutely perfect to unplug from technology (wifi in the main living room/eating area and none in the rooms, no TV in the rooms) which exactly what we were after! We were greeted by staff as soon as we parked, who kindly took our luggage and made us moroccan tea on arrival. The stunning building looks out onto the ocean, giving you lovely views wherever you are on the property. We loved the architecture of the place. The facilities are stellar, their pool is gorgeous, gardens are immaculately maintained, rooms are incredibly clean and beautifully decorated, their rescued animals (donkeys, cats, dogs etc) are always around to go and say hello to (and you’ll often have a cat come to play with you at breakfast!) The beds are huge, fresh water and towels left in your room daily. Julie and her team have done a fantastic job of re opening the hotel, providing excellent service, organising anything you need (activities, recommendations in the nearby town, anything you need can be sorted) she kindly organised quad bikes and a beach horse ride for us, as well as feeding us the most delicious three course dinners, and an amazing breakfast spread every morning. They also have a lunch menu depending on how many meals you want at the hotel, at very reasonable prices (€9 for a burger and fries for example) When we wanted to venture into Essaouria (45 min drive away) Julie and her team provided excellent recommendations for food and drinks which did not disappoint! They also offered to sort transport for us if we weren’t up for driving. We were truly looked after all the time. donations: They also have a relationship with a local orphanage that they bring donations to, if you have any unneeded baby/children’s clothes or toys. We couldn’t recommend this beautiful corner of Morocco more, it’s truly a magical place to stay and relax!

Our stay at Dar Danse Hotel was an absolute gem and a highlight of our trip to Morocco. From the very first moment, we felt not only warmly welcomed but truly treated like family members. As a small family traveling with our daughter, we were delighted by how caring and attentive the entire team was. The location of Dar Danse Hotel is simply magical – set directly by the sea, far from the crowds, making it the ideal place to unwind and recharge. Despite its secluded location, we were never bored. We spent our days by the breathtaking pool overlooking the ocean, exploring the beautifully maintained gardens, or strolling along the stunning beach just beyond the entrance gate. A special highlight for our daughter was the lovely animals on the property, especially the friendly dogs, with whom she spent countless happy hours playing in the garden. And the food – simply fantastic! Each day, we were treated to fresh, regional delights prepared with so much love, constantly surprising and delighting us. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the wonderful team whose warmth and friendliness made our stay truly unforgettable. Location was perfect with beautiful property and amazing view. Staff were very friendly and we felt very much welcomed and at home. It was the perfect getaway for a week of just relaxing and being tots a family.

Nothing

The hotel is by the sea with almost nothing around. Very quiet and relaxing environment with only handful of rooms. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. Dinner is a 3 course menu which changes everyday.

Dar Danse is a beautiful and special place. We wanted a spot to switch off and relax for a few days, and this was perfect. Julianna, Mike, and their team made us feel at home right away and really took care of us. We loved the personal touch in everything. The food was delicious and always freshly made with local ingredients. Our room and the terrace were highlights—getting sun all day, perfect for yoga with an ocean view, reading, and enjoying Moroccan coffee. We also booked a Hammam and massage, which were so relaxing. We can’t recommend Dar Danse enough and hope to be back very soon!

The WiFi connection only worked in the main salon, which is something they are already working on to improve. However this didn’t really bother us as our main goal was to disconnect for a while. They always try their best to make everything possible though :)
