Cork's Vienna Woods Hotel & Villas

Comfortable room, good bathroom, nice bar, not too far from Cork

The building, the room, scenery.

Staff are clearly just a number and this in turn has them uninterested in customer care and will do just enough to keep their jobs. Food was less than adequate and fell far short of the quality one expects from a 4 star hotel. Wedding guests get preferential treatment to other paying guests. No bath in room was also a disappointment.

Everything was first class. Reception, room, facilities. Nice decor and comfortable beds, very clean and plenty of room One thing that was outstanding was the receptionist (and I forgot to write her name down) when we arrived on the evening of the 10th and she was still there in the morning of the 11th. She was very personable, very informative and helpful with a smile on her face the whole time. Personally I think that helped to make our experience with Vienna Woods so enjoyable. The rest of the staff were also very pleasant so I want to Thank them also.

Decor was nice

Location required transportation. The restaurant was the worst food and the most expensive meal we had in Ireland. Nobody warned us that we were next to a “pet friendly” room. Seriously, we’re dog lovers, but who brings their barking dog to a hotel. After two calls, the front desk offered to move US to another room. Unacceptable.
