Hard to find your way in even following the instructions. They also sent a lengthy nonsensical message about why the parking was weird after all the instructions on how to get there so it was really hard to figure out how to get in and where to park. Also the entrance requires walking around to the other side through lots of kids and flooded grass. Also quite small but then that's in the name so expected.
NZAUThe view of the lake was nice, but overall we were disappointed.
Problems started as soon as we arrived, the entry door handle was broken, then the toilet stopped working, the power tripped outside, and there was an unpleasant odour which seemed to be from the ‘cassette’ toilet. Each time we struggled to find someone in the rain, with mud and puddles everywhere. I could go on, but problems aside this is budget accommodation at a premium price, really little more than a small caravan.
