NZThe view, private.
A little bit cold, not super clean, access wasn't the best.
NZThe immaculate views The cabin loved everything
It was a bit tiny for my luggage
NZBeing on the mountain top overlooking beautiful Rotorua 😍 Spectacular views sunsets sunrises Cabin is perfect the setting within is fabulous Love love love it Alll
ZAThe tiny house was lovely and just perfect for what I needed. It was located high up the hills and private Easy access with car
I loved everything, it was just sad that I could not see the beautiful sunsets or sunrises due to continues raining over Easter weekend
NZgreat location and comfortable stay.
I didn't get sent a gate pin, so had to ring for a gate pin and the lock box for the key was hard to get into as we got given a different code. so had to call again for the right pin. Once there and in it was alright.
AUThe close neighbours had an argument at 2am and woke us all up.. it is VERY close together
AUThe view, the cabin was clean.
Needing to put in a gate code to enter and exit in the rain without any shelter. Door lock on cabin is damaged so was hard to use, the door didn't sit in the the frame correctly so wind entered the cabin. The air conditioner motor is mounted on the cabin frame which means the noise and vibration carries inside. Not a problem except that it's at the bed end. The driveway entry is very uncared for and not inviting.
AUThe view. Quiet rural location.
Poor grounds maintenance. Property requires better cleaning standards. Precarious drive up mountain.
NZThe view was incredible. The units were tidy, but tiny. The description said "13m square" which was spot-on. The towels, tea and coffee were very well-supplied. Wendy offered to clean the unit during my stay for free, and she also added my license plate onto the recognition gate at the entrance. Wendy was also very communicative and available on text, which was nice.
The photos only show 2 cabins, but there are 7 tiny homes perched on the edge of the hill. And the surroundings aren't very well kept, which also doesn't show in the photos. There was nowhere outside to relax other than on the tiny house balcony: no trees or grassy area - just the cars and the tiny homes. Also, and this is no fault of the property, it is at the top of a road that is used by boy racers and people who dump rubbish. It feels a bit sketchy, although this is dealt with by the automated gate at the entrance. At no point did I worry about trespassers or safety despite the users of the road.
GBClean cabin, very comfortable bed. All you need for a 1/2 night stay. Easy access from a keypad. Kitchen kit supplied with tea/coffee and milk pods. Views from the cabin and decking are stunning but beware of the temperature drop after sunset with the wind that normally blows in the evening. Nearby mountain bike forest is quite magical and unique.
No comfy chair inside or out on the decking. Sink shelf gets in the way in the shower room. Bit of a trek from town with keypad controlled access gate that shuts on you if you're not quick. Restaurant next to the cabins site is a total disgrace, don't go.
