Location

The property was disappointing as it did not reflect what was booked or confirmed. It had one bedroom, the second “bedroom “ was in the lounge area with a blow up bed. There was no terrace and no breakfast which was paid for. The parking arrangements were confusing. Seating was inadequate. Several furniture items were broken including the toilet seat and cupboards. Communication with the landlord was by text only, some of the messages were ignored e.g when asking about breakfast. I would like to address my concerns formally.

I was travelling from Australia to visit family and had been trying to contact the place to see about an early check in. I sent 6 messages which I never got a response to. On the day as we was travelling to the apartment we got a call to stay we couldn’t stay in the apartment!! Wasn’t happy, but then was told we could stay somewhere else. Got there and it was a studio flat with one double bed for three of us. Definitely wouldn’t use these again. And not what I needed after travelling for 21 hours

It was close to a Bus Stop/ Underground Station. The living room was warm and inviting, the staircase fresh and the bedroom was sufficient. There was a fridge as well as fridge-freezer, top! There was everything to make one”s stay comfortable.

Poor customer service! We spent over an hour outside the apartment) which was almost midnight) because the Door Code we received at booking confirmation didn’t work. All attempts to contact them proved futile. The internet didn’t work, the password advised wasn’t accepted !

The provision of bananas, brioche rolls, milk, snacks, towels, cleanliness of apartment easy access to Tesco Express, quick access to wifi. Ease of access to apartment building via the digital & manual room lock.I

The breakfast could have been improved with access to tea bags + butter + kitchen roll. The addition of a loaf of bread should have been included for a 5 adult breakfast. In addition, we were disappointed that there weren't any face tissues. There were no hooks on the bathroom and bedroom doors ... this would have been very useful for us. There was limited access to the services on the tv. Breakfast bowls were lacking. The plastic cutlery was not of good quality. There weren't enough toilet rolls for 5 adults!

This was a well organised rental with instructions to get into property and wi fi that were clear and worked first time. It was clean and tidy with towels toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities. The kitchen was equipped well for us and lots of fridge space was great. There was enough space although I was slightly surprised at one bedroom being in the living area. The area was OK and felt safe and there was street parking although this took a little unravelling.

There were one or two small comments to make. The stairs to the property are quite steep. That was a slight challenge to me who has some mobility issues. What was more concerning was no handrail on the stairs and I would recommend this is rectified. In the lounge the rug can be a trip risk. A non slip undermat may help. The toilet seat also needs attention. The walk to the tube is flat and on the main road but 10 to 15 minutes depending which tube you use. Useful for others to know that. One final suggestion is that you put coat hooks on the back of the doors so wet coats and dry clothes can be kept separate. Having said that no major issues apart from stairs and would stay here again

Location was ok.

1 bed was broken. Other mattresses, could feel the springs through. Toilet seat was broken. Said “breakfast included”. 2 pots of porridge for 4 of us.

The host cancelled our booking at around 4pm on the day we were staying.. shocking and outrageous way to do business. We were left completely in the lurch. If this is how Booking.com allows its properties to behave I will not be using this platform ever again.
