The managers, Frikkie and Isabel are really helpful and always available. They didn’t bother us at all. The space is neat and is enough for a couple. The windows bring in some great lighting during the days and the views are amazing! The bathroom is spacious and I liked the shower space as well.

The Kolkol does take some time to heat up, almost didn’t use it because of the cold and rainy weather. But I enjoyed myself once I was in the warm water. Otherwise, I’m just saying because I don’t think there’s anything that can be done about it.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail, comfort, and privacy the villa offered. The space is beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting. It had everything we needed — a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and all the little extras that made it feel like home. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into making sure guests are comfortable and have everything at their fingertips. One of the absolute highlights was the KolKol hot tub — such a unique and relaxing experience. Sitting under the stars, soaking in the warmth with a glass of wine, was just magical. A very special thank you to Oom Frikkie and his wife, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable — you can feel their care and dedication in every part of the experience. The location at 92 Main Road was very convenient — close to all the main attractions in Knysna. It is situated next to the main road, so there was a bit of traffic noise at times, but it really wasn’t too bothersome and didn’t affect the peacefulness of the villa. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. If you’re looking for a romantic, cozy, and well-equipped getaway in Knysna, this is it. Highly recommended!
