Family Friendly - Modern - City Central

The kitchen was quite updated, and the bathroom looked like it had new appliances. Couch was large and comfy. The location was great - about ten minutes walk from the train station, and about fifteen minutes walk from Bryggen. Communication from the hosts was prompt and friendly.

Keys were not where they were described as there was painting being undertaken and the front of the building was covered with construction protection. The apartment has the appearance of being gradually renovated; bathroom was quite cramped, and the layout was a bit awkward; the bedrooms were dated, and there were various odd bits and pieces being stored in and on top of the cupboards. One bedroom only just fit a double bed with hardly any room next to it - had to climb onto the bed rather than being able to walk or even shuffle beside it - and there were no coverings on the window - had to put a suitcase up for some privacy. In another bedroom, had to turn the bed slightly to get access on both sides.

There were 4 bedrooms in the apartment.

It was a chaos to collect the keys upon arrival. We were given instructions to find the keys "on the left side of the entrance, left from the garbage bins with green lid". In the end, the keys were actually on the right side of the entrance. And the lock box was detached from the wall. It was dangling under some scaffolding in the dark. (we arrived at around 9.30pm). Besides darkness, it was also raining that night. This really made it very challenging for us to locate the keys. After finally found the lock box, the password to the lock box wasn't working and the box just won't open. I hope the property owner will check on the condition of the lock box frequently to make sure that it can be open easily when password was keyed in.

The location was very central. Overall, the property was clean and the living room/kitchen area was nice to stay in. There were multiple portable electric heaters, which were great for keeping the room warm.

The lockbox to retrieve the key did not match up with the description, because there was building work going on, which covered where it was. This made it unsafe to collect the key. The builders were helpful in finding the key. There was mould in the corner of one of the bedrooms. We could not find oven mitts when using the oven, meaning you were limited in using the kitchen facilities. Some rooms didn't have curtains or were held up flimsily that they could fall down. There were 4 beds. 2 of the beds were made for people to stay (bedsheets, towls, etc.). However, 1 of the beds was in a room without curtains. It's such a cheap, simple fix to sort out a proper curtain rail, that I feel greater care needs to be shown to the property. Some of the rooms, especially the living room, felt quite dark, with not enough lighting.

Tolle Lage, sehr nahe zum Bahnhof und Innenstadt. In der Wohnung genug Platz für vier Personen. Ausreichend sauber, Betten okay, Einrichtung sehr funktional, gute Kaffeemaschine mit vorhandenen Kaffeekapseln. Ruhige Lage

Wohnung riecht schlecht nach altem Rauch. Küchenausstattung: eigentlich nicht zum Kochen geeignet, da nicht ausreichend Besteck, zum Beispiel kein Messer zum schneiden. Keine Hacken für Handtücher im Bad. Blick nach hinten in einen heruntergekommenen Hinterhof. Nach vorne war der Blick durch Baugerüste verstellt. Keine Nachttischlampen. Das Haus macht von außen keinen gepflegten Eindruck.

Excelente ubicación, muy confortable, contaba con todos los elementos para cocinar. Personal Super atento y amable todo el tiempo

Great location and we had a nice stay overall!

Could not find the lock box at first, because the description on where it was, was inaccurate. The apartment was OK, could have been better with reading lamps and electrical plugs in the bedrooms. Need an good clean out - was dirty around the sink in the bathroom etc.
