Talkeetna Log Cabin with Hot Tub Unit 1

Cozy accommodation in a great location.

The stairwell to the bedroom’s upstairs are quite steep and narrow.

Location is very good for traveling between Anchorage and Fairbanks. The cabin has good kitchen and in general is very comfortable.

The stair to the bedrooms is very narrow. We decided to leave our suitcases downstairs because it was very hard to bring them up. For us it was ok as we stayed only one night. The bedrooms don't have doors, only curtains.

This house absolutely won our hearts. We only stayed for a night, but we wish we could have stayed for at least three days. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property also features a fire pit, which made for a very cozy evening sitting by the fire. We highly recommend this place!

We found it a bit strange that when checking out, guests are asked to put all the towels and bed linen in the washing machine, especially since there's still a cleaning fee charged. This is something we've never encountered before, and given that it's usually done in a hurry, it was a bit confusing.

Super cute cabin, clean, awesome access to hot tub and close to town. Town of talkeetna was so fun and we had a blast exploring. Loved the cabin amenities of washer/dryer, microwave, keurig and toaster. Bathroom was great and shower had a nice removable shower head with great water pressure.

The stairs were super narrow and slippery (one of our guests fell pretty hard coming down while holding the railing), double bed was super uncomfy and the curtains didn’t fully close in that room so we couldn’t get it dark since it was the summer. Also, the directions mention a trash in the kitchen but there was no can. Wi-Fi was pretty slow but not a big deal - we were more focused on the nature and fun town!

Everything was as advertised except the hot tub wasn't on while we were there; then again, it was cool so we didn't miss it! It was easy to find, very rustic, comfortable accomodations. Would definately recommend as well as rebook on a future trip.

Cute cabin close to town. Easy to check in

Paper thin walls, pretty tight and narrow in spots. With it being memorial day weekend the neighboring cabins were having a party. They were up very late and were noisy. It distrusted our sleep significantly.
