Villa Alba Puglia - Experience Authentic Puglian Bliss

The location was good and the fact that you had a lot of sitting options outside was a plus.

I am writing this for people who might think that booking this property is a good idea, because the pictures are just so well done and professionally made and edited. Please don't, it is not worth it. The property does not look like the photos, the photos show you a bright, authentic villa that calls for relaxations and chill vibes. In reality you have two apartments, each with 2 bedrooms, a living/dining and kitchen area and one bathroom, 2 in the other apartment. Here is where I messed up, because I did not see this information on Booking and still booked. The two apartments are not that big and with 13 people there (7 aduls and 6 kids) it was pretty crowded and no pravicy, unfornately the apartments are also very dark and leave you with a gloomy feeling. When we first arrived we are met by the smell of mold and, very unfornately for us the smell of urine in one of the bathrooms. That bathroom was not cleaned, I do have photos of that and actually complainted to the owner about feeling trapped and mislead. I was told that he's cleaning team is detalied-orientated and everything was spotless, this while he never saw the property as we had. I was very upset and dissapointed because I felt and still feel that for 7000 euros we should have received much more. However, I was told that I dont know what I am talking about and that the property has incredible competitive rates and to basically keep my thougths for myself. The pool was also not clean when we arrived, appartently something about the wind and forestry in the garden, but having the experience of how the inside looked I don't know if I buy it. The second day we were there, we went to the beach and we came back at 12:30pm and there were two men near the pool pouring something in the pool. We kept asking what they are doing and they at first wouldn't even acknowledge us. We kept insisting and they only said chlorine and we showed them the kids and we said this is not possible to be happening.
