The Regent Cha Am Beach Resort, Hua Hin

The Regent Cha-am Beach resort was a very comfortable stay in January 2025. We booked to stay for a wedding held in the grounds. The staff were very helpful and arranged cars, helped us book a fabulous cooking class and were happy to help with everything. The interior is a little tired and sadly the spa was not open. The wedding ceremony area and reception was well prepared by the staff and everything looked fabulous. Over our 5 night stay, the food was very good and our experience overall was great.

Great hotel by the beach

Staff great very friendly But rooms not very clean floors and uder beds never cleaned linen old and pillows very stained I had to buy insect spray due to bed bug bites

We stayed in the family room with the pool access and it was super comfy and convenient. Loved the food at the Italian restaurant (Peccino - I think it's called)

Breakfast was not nice: food quality was poor. Everyone was friendly but there were limited staff who could speak English so it was tough to communicate. Everything took a long time to explain and it was exhausting.

Helpful front office staff particularly Khun Pakamat who helped us get a taxi back to Bangkok. She took special care for us to be comfortable. Regular transport to nearby village although we were charged.

Breakfast was very basic. The hotel was overcrowed during the Christmas festival period. Breakfast was served in a massive hall. Seating space was not adequate. No continental breakfast only Thai. The hotel is very old and needing refurbishing. Our door jammed for 2 hours. Our room was not cleaned well and towels were old and used up. Pillows were old and smelly. The beach is rocky and not sandy, not pleasant.
