The location and host are absolutely fabulous! It's 3 min by car outside the village on a quiet and remote road where the only thing we could hear was the nature and occasional chopping of the firewood. Not only as advertised and as in the pictures but exceeding everything promised. The kitchen is not only equipped with everything you would expect, but even small things like wrapping paper. The cabin has its own Netflix account so you don't have to log in your own details and log out when you leave. Everything is well thought and Karl's Cabin has 2 terraces, one in the front of the cabin and one with a shade built on top of it, that can host 16-18 people. Last but not least, in the end we had to leave early and they offered (we didn't ask) to pay us back for the night that we didn't stay although we announced just one day in advance and they couldn't fill for the empty day.

Great experience. The house looks beautiful, everything is elegant, new, and well-thought-out. We were 9 people and the number of rooms and bathrooms allowed us to stay comfortably (there are 3 bathrooms, 3 rooms and a sofa in the salon). The lovely owners prepared everything we needed (coffee, wood, dishwasher capsules etc.). The house offers a great hot tub on the terrace, a beautiful view (really beautiful!), silence and a convenient location (5 minutes from the nearest store, 20 minutes to a larger city). Convenient access, there is space (small parking in front of the house) for cars, a roofed shed and a barbecue. Honestly, we couldn't have chosen a better place. One of the best and nicest places we stayed in!
