It was very clean and the bed was cosy, it had everything I needed. The pub over the road isn’t worth the effort so if you want food go somewhere else.

You need to drive unless you are ok with buses.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour chez Doreen. Le studio est très propre, avec un lit confortable et tout le nécessaire pour se sentir à l’aise. J’ai beaucoup apprécié la véranda, la douche et le jardin individuel qui apportent un vrai confort supplémentaire. Le logement dispose de tout ce qu’il faut : ventilateur, micro-ondes, bouilloire, un petit réfrigérateur juste pour une seule personne et sur demande un fer à repasser ou un grille-pain. Les petits déjeuners ainsi que les goûters prévus pour la durée du séjour sont un vrai plus. Doreen est une hôte exceptionnelle, toujours disponible, gentille et très attentionnée. Le parking sur place et la sécurité des lieux permettent de séjourner en toute tranquillité. Je recommande vivement cet endroit : vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Doreen was lovely, most welcoming and checked in both days to check if I needed anything It was very hot so she'd put two fans in the accommodation to make things comfortable for me. The accommodation is separate from the house, was spotless and had everything I needed. Breakfast for both mornings was provided in the fridge (croissants, fresh fruit, yougurt and OJ) with tea making facilities.

Location ideal for me visiting my daughter close by. Fresh milk, yoghurts and fruit juice in fridge. Croissants, coffee, tea provisions.

The host met me on arrival with the keys, was super friendly and ensured I knew she available for whatever I needed. Always responded promptly to messages and made me feel at home. I felt personally welcomed immediately. The mini fridge and cupboard were stocked with snacks and drinks. I had everything I needed. Thank you Doreen for such a pleasant stay!

Very neat, comfortable bright little room with its own conservatory and access to garden, own bathroom and fridge (stocked with fresh breakfast items,juice, milk, pastry)/microwave/kettle. Host Doreen is one of the friendliest hosts I have ever met, very helpful and going way beyond the usual host duties. I was attending a course at the Gloucestershire university which is only 25 minutes walk away, as is the city centre.

There was an amazing amount of food in a cupboard and the fridge when I arrived - croissants , jam/honey, orange juice, milk, tea and coffee, fruit, cheese, water and yoghurt. With a microwave and a kettle, plus an amazing number of biscuits, self catering in no problem. The location is perfect for anyone ready for a short walk into the centre of Gloucester (20 minutes brisk walk).
