BelLa VistA - Holiday Home On The Beach

The site facilities, pool, and entertainment were good. Good proximity to Clacton and other resorts. The caravan was OK, the housekeeper obviously works hard to keep it clean, beds were comfy enough. Nice to have shower gel and spare toothbrush included. Plenty of hot water and heating worked. Good communication by owner and housekeeper very friendly/helpful.

The caravan is quite dated - the lounge furniture is worn and pretty old although functional. Heater in lounge worked but looked very old. Carpet tiles in bathroom are not nice - needs hard flooring. The caravan was generally all in working order and ok for a short stay it’s just tired and needs revamp (eg walls in bathroom are marked). I have stayed in nicer vans for less money.

The caravan was nicely decorated and clean. The host left us with a lots of complimentary item ( toothbrush and paste, shower gel, tea, coffee etc even food, toy, poo bag for the dog) which was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. We where close to everything and we had our own parking spot, handy to load and unload the car.

I don't really have nothing to complain but if I want to mention something minor was no many electricity outlet so whe had to juggle on what to plug in but that's how the caravan is designed no much anyone can do about.

Lovely and clean and comfortable beds. Felt cosy on the evening.
