"Perfect place if you don't travel by car"

The house is in the centre of Chester meaning it is only a short walk to a lot of the towns amenities. The house inside is very nicely decorated a large kitchen for cooking in on an evening and they supplied a cot and high chair for my niece. The hosts seemed friendly and polite in the messages and it was reassuring to have free cancellation up to the day before.

One of the bathrooms did not have a bin and cleaning supplies for your stay were not provided. We needed to buy dish washer tablets, scourers to clean and washing up liquid. On top of this in some of the bedrooms the hand soap was all but empty which we would have expected replaced prior to us staying. Parking to be honest was a nightmare and abit of an added stress to a holiday. There is a car park 2 minutes away but requires payment 24 hours a day, or there is a 8am-18:00pm free half an hour. We frequently had to move the cars between the two which obviously disrupted our stay. Additionally, the car parks did fill up so there was occasions for example if you arrived back to the property in the middle of the day that we would have to wait for a space to become available or find another city centre car park, again for increased costs.

"gorgeous house but didn't sleep well in it"

The decor and size of the house was amazing

It was very warm but you couldn't open the windows because it was really noisy into the early hours outside- I think it was just eat drivers by a restaurant behind the house. As a result none of us slept well. We also didn't have any washing up liquid and only one dishwasher tablet which isnt enough for six people for a whole weekend.

"Nice place , to much noise at night."

Too much noise from adjacent fast food rear of shops which back on to property. Extraction flues going till 3am and delivery drivers making general noise.
