Santa Croce - vivi il cuore della città

Die Lage und die Umgebung waren sehr schön. Die Unterkunft war geräumig und schön eingerichtet.

Die Räume haben alle muffig gerochen, die Lüftung hat nicht funtioniert und so gab es schimmlige stellen. Die Küche war mäßig eingerichtet und wird offensichtlich kaum benutzt.

The location of the place is amazing. It is a spacious apartments with all the necessary facilities. There is great Wi-Fi and TVs in both rooms (important if you are traveling with children). The host was very responsive (on WhatsApp)

The humidity. I don't know why, but the humidity in the apartment was suffocating. It ruined our nights. It was so unpleasant, that we did not want to return to the apartment at night. An AC would be great, but maybe there are not allowed, not sure. A dehumidifier though is essential. I would not want to go back because of that. Otherwise, I would have scored the place 10 out of 10. ps. The new trend with the host being nowhere but just sending you messages of whatsapp with instructions to get the keys, is starting to become annoying too. We miss the times where we would meet our host on arrival, ask a few questions etc.

Posizione spettacolare,dimensioni soddisfacenti. L’appartamento rispecchia moltissimo le descrizioni, l’arredo bello e funzionale, proprietario gentile e disponibile. Siamo rimasti sorpresi per l’assenza del condizionatore quando era descritto come servirzi presenti nell’alloggio. Comunque presente dei ventilatori.

Descrizione su piattaforma con aria condizionata e parcheggio, quando non c’erano. Parcheggio sì, ma non vicino all’alloggio.

Very nice and quiet location. Spacious and quite comfortable. Overall a clean and fine place to stay in the historic center of Lecce. Highly recommended!

Bathroom sink a bit shallow and toilet seat could be more secure as it tends to shift. Kitchen utensils could have been a bit better but in Italy you eat out often so not terribly important.
