Coastal Caravan Holidays - Goldfinch 22

Good location, appreciated the little welcome gifts and extra home comforts like games, books etc

Sadly it's a little run down, we booked for 2 nights and only stayed one night. Upon arrival there was no water, rang the owner and she explained she had the boiler man out the day before so he may have disconnected it, once we had located the stop tap outside and turned it on, we thought all was fine. No hot water came from the shower and the sink was not connected to the pipes for water, so we had to use another sink to brush our teeth. Both toilets had broken toilet seats, loose and wrong size fitted. No blinds in the toilet windows for privacy and the kitchen had no blinds, blinds in bedrooms are broken and curtains are dirty, faded and mold on them. Not cleaned to a high standard, you would think the cleaner would have noticed and reported the repairs and lack of water. Clothes left in the drawer from the last person. Due to us being tired from travelling and work we stayed the night but left in the morning, very tired and rundown caravan.

We had an issue woth our boiler, Jane and her partner came and upgraded us instantly to another of their vans, very very nice people, will only use them going forward, everything we needed was provided, cannot fault the host or the vans OUTSTANDING!!!

It was spacious clean and tidy

It was cold in the bedroom s of an evening and no WiFi we had problems logging in so used our own no mat by the door so couldnt wipe our feet but apart from that all good

lovely and cosy everything you need even an air fryer lovely and quiet at this time of year great walks for the dog will certainly recommend and hopefully return for longer stay

couldnt access the beach at all due to erosion 2 of the gates were locked to gain access to the park and sat nav kept taking us to those gates once we got used to the layout we were ok didnt realise we needed to take towels for the shower everything else there tea coffee sugar etc also its quite common to have a power cut we were without electric for several hours so couldnt use hoover on day of leaving and couldnt find a brush

Communication with host excellent lovely woman lovely an very cosy and clean will definitely be returning
