The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was really delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location - bus stop to Newcastle is on the main road.

It’s a really relaxing place — the staff go above and beyond to help with anything you need. The meals are amazing, and while the rooms are standard, they’re nice and clean. Beds are comfortable

It can get a bit noisy at times, with people banging doors.

Staff was really miserable and I think it was the owner kept staring at us give us dirty looks like he had a problem with us was really strange

Since I was turned away at 7pm at night due to them being “overbooked” I wasn’t able to experience anything I might have liked. This was due to BOOKING.COM and not the property itself I was told. Apparently BOOKING.COM do this to customers regularly.

After driving 3 hours for our stay and being turned away and having to drive 3 hours back home in a horrific storm, we have nothing good to say about the property. Apparently this was BOOKING.COM fault and not the property. The fact that they have it as an option on their “why didn’t you check in” email, evidences that.
