"Exceptional"

10.0

On arrival everything was a positive. No negative signage, all positive. Friendly staff, and nothing was too much trouble. Having our chunky lab with us was no issue. Food was excellent. Our tent was amazing very comfy. Small touches made it really homely.

Being able to only stay 2 nights, work gets in the way!

Everything, couldn’t fault one thing. Glamping pod was everything you could expect and more. Warm and cosy with the essentials if needed (fan & heater) The pub is beautifully decorated with food and drink reasonably priced. The staff are amazing, make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Thank you for everything you really have made an unforgettable stay. We will return !

"Please get a new bed"

8.0

The tent, the showers, the breakfast and the staff were all great.

The bed. Weird lumpy mattress with springs sticking out and no padding. Couldn't sleep because of the pain and had to spread spare single quilt under us to try to mitigate. Also no headboard so pillows just fell off the back. The loos. Incorporated into the shower rooms so you had to wait for someone to finish their shower before a toilet became vacant. Very inconvenient. Would be much better to have a couple of separate loos.

"Warm comfortable accommodation, extremely friendly staff, very dog friendly and in an excellent spot"

10.0

Had a brilliant three night stay in the 'Gwen' Bell Tent which was the larger of the two tents on site. We we happy to see ours was next to the hedge, and we had our own small grassy area out the back with table and chairs, and somewhere where our dog could stretch her legs. Tea and coffee making facilities, juice, milk and other beverages were provided along with towels and a tv for entertainment. The power did trip a couple of times in the evening , but this was quickly resolved by staff in the pub. We had mixed weather during our stay, but each night we were warm and cosy as there was ample duvets and blankets/ pillows provided. And the little electric heater warmed the tent quite adequately. There are four shared bathrooms on the campsite, and I have to say they are the cleanest I've ever experienced whilst camping, so that was pleasing. The showers were hot and there was always plenty of loo roll etc. They were also lovely and warm. A small utility room adjacent to the toilets had lots of leaflets on local information/days out etc. Each morning we had breakfast in the pub which was excellent. Lots of variety of cold items including juices, yogurts, fruits cereals and pastries. And a large varied menu of hot foods. We had the full welsh breakfast everyday and it was delicious. The breakfast staff even cooked our collie her own sausage each morning and was given lots of fuss and attention which she loved. We ate in the pub on the Sunday evening, and that too was wonderful. With regards to days out, we managed to cram in so much during our long weekend. But the highlights of our trip included - Parys Mountain Copper Mine - The old Printworks - Bryn Celli Ddu burial chamber - Llanddwyn Island - Treaddur Bay ( stunning) - Cemeas Bay - Southstack Lighthouse - Sandy Beach - The Oyster Catcher Rhosneiger ( lovely food) Really enjoyed our stay at The Ring, and we will be back :)
